LOST END

Media

Great Show. I love this ending. Although many questions are unanswered, but this is not about Q&A at the end of the day. To those who insist to get the answers: “what makes you so hard to believe?”

Hong Kong Glossary of Frauds, a Must-Read Handbook if You Don’t Read Next Magazine Everyweek

Hong Kong Glossary of Frauds, a Must-Read Handbook if You Don't Read Next Magazine Everyweek
Finance, Life, Media

You will find it in the section of detective stories.

Those topics are normally seen in complaint sections from newspapers and magazines. So familiar to me!

Although the book design is messy, but I find the content useful. At the end of the day, Hong Kong needs finance fictions and glossaries of frauds like this kind!

A Few things on Economic Assassin

A Few things on Economic Assassin
Finance

Frankly speaking, I don’t like the cover design, too generic for me.

Certainly the Economic Assassin (金融刺客) is not the first local fiction ever on economic or finance issues but it must be the most recent one in a decade or so.  I finished it in two days, and I found it very fruitful and inspiring.

Although the characters are way too “cup-noodle-ized”  for me (taste good, but too much MSG, you can hardly say it is a fine dish), but the plot is really clever. Conspiracy, a tempting topic of eternity.  I really can’t wait to read the next volume!

But one thing to add: since the book comprises of some real facts and information on economic or finance issues, sometimes it is not easy for people to digest, especially if they have little finance knowledge. Maybe there should be a glossary for jargons like ETF, SDPR, options and so on.

And, the setting up of economic assassins, who would try every means to protect the power of US dollars, is not a pure imagination. In 2004, there was a book published under the name “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man”,   you may want to check this out.

Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly-paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. They funnel money from the World Bank, theU.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign “aid” organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet’s natural resources. Their tools included fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization.

Expecting Adult Web Games

Expecting Adult Web Games
Games, Technology

Boring, boring and boring.…..

I wish to inspire someone by this post.

Web game is certainly an overwhelming trend, it can be played on a computer at anytime as long as there is a browser installed. So I would expect stronger and faster browsers to be invented in order to cater the trend.

And google is trying to bring us a browser-OS or OS-browser…oh shit! Browser development, who cares?

The truth is, I am way too tired of all those epic war/three kindoms/farming/ resturant web games! And I am longing for some adult/porno web games with rich content and  entertaining playing experience.

There is a blue ocean in it, believe me.
